Care & pickup
Fresh strings settle in after their first few hours of play — expect the bed to lose a pound or two of tension as it beds in. Keep your racquet out of hot cars and direct sun; heat is the fastest way to kill a string job.
We will hold your freshly strung racquet at the front desk for up to two weeks. Bring your drop-off tag or the order confirmation email when you pick up.
Frequently asked
How often should I restring?
As a rule of thumb: as many times per year as you play per week. Strings lose tension and resilience long before they break — a dead string bed costs you control and comfort.
What tension should I choose?
Most players sit between 48–56 lbs. Lower tension gives easier power and comfort; higher tension gives more control. If you are unsure, tell us your racquet and level in the notes and we will recommend one.
Can I bring my own string?
Absolutely — choose “I’ll supply my own string” and you only pay labor. Drop the set (or reel) off with your racquet.
What is a hybrid setup?
A hybrid pairs two different strings — typically a durable poly in the mains for spin and a softer synthetic or multifilament in the crosses for comfort. Pick “Hybrid” in the configurator and choose each side.
